St Michel
I'd forgotten just what a pain audio typing is! I've been sitting at the 'puter for what feels like days, trying to make sense of a series of audio files that have white noise, mumbling regional accented voices and periods of everyone laughing and talking at the same time. A mobile phone was placed too close to the microphone and kept receiving beeping signals throughout the files. I finally finished typing them up at 9.30 this morning and we went out to play for the day.
We took the young people to Domme which, as you will recall is one of our favourite local places, especially just out of season when it is quieter. We had a lovely drive and a very nice lunch in the main village square.
Although it has been a lovely warm day, the leaves are beginning to turn from green to yellow, in some places they are quite brown and in other places they are falling from the trees like handfuls of confetti at a wedding.
To update you on 'the foot', it is still quite painful and a little swollen but we are hoping that Jon will be fighting fit and back working on the loft in a very few days!!
